ABOUT ME
Rachel Donaldson, LCSW is an accomplished psychotherapist, experienced trainer and mindfulness facilitator with over 20 years in the field of behavioral health care and preventative medicine. Rachel’s practice specializes in mindfulness and somatic modalities and she is a trained trauma therapist (EMDR and TRM) as well as a Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) facilitator, a trained Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) facilitator, a Mentor for UC San Diego Mindfulness-Based Certification Programs and a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator. A graduate of Harvard University, Rachel spent over ten years at Kaiser Permanente working across disciplines, to create and lead a variety of mindfulness and behavioral health programs for patients, providers and senior managers. With her Masters in Social Work from USC Rachel has worked as a clinician, educator, trainer and consultant to community mental health, non-profit, and health care organizations. Recently, Rachel served as Director of Community Mental Health and Supportive Services for a multi-faceted social service agency in Los Angeles where she has created a mindful workplace with collaborative leadership at its core
